A 31-year-old Odessa man was killed in a one-vehicle traffic crash Friday afternoon on Interstate 70 near the Lafayette County line.
Andrew G. Warren was taken by LifeFlight Air Ambulance to Centerpoint Medical Center in Independence where an emergency room doctor pronounced him dead at 5:09 p.m. Friday.
At 4:20 p.m., Warren was traveling east on I-70 in a 2001 GMC. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Warren’s vehicle ran off the left side of the roadway. Warren overcorrected to the right, which caused his vehicle to skid and rotate clockwise. The vehicle left the right side of the road and overturned several times.
Warren was buckled in.
