State Rep. Will Kraus is holding a coffee Thursday morning at John Knox Village in Lee’s Summit.

The event is from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. in the Manhattan Room. Kraus will speak and take questions.

Kraus, of Raytown, is in a three-person race in the Aug. 3 Republican primary in state Senate District 8. His opponents are state Reps. Gary Dusenberg and Bryan Pratt, both of Blue Springs. The district includes Blue Springs, much of Lee’s Summit, part of Independence and the northeast corner of Jackson County, including Buckner, Sibley and Levasy.
