Missouri Attorney General Chris Koster said today he will appeal a Circuit Court judge’s ruling this week that throws out an economic development law enacted last fall.

The Missouri Science and Innovation Reinvestment Act is designed to attract high-tech businesses to the state. A Cole County judge this week ruled the law unconstitutional because of the manner in which the General Assembly passed it.
