She received her crown from Johnny “Scat” Davis, currently appearing at a Kansas City supper club. Among the prizes won by Mrs. Johnson was a Shetland pony. She has three children.

Little Sandra Dee, the 6 1/2 pound baby girl of Mr. and Mrs. Elmer W. Finney, was born at the Independence Sanitarium and Hospital. What makes this little girl special is she’s the first girl born in 91 years to the descendants of Mr. and Mrs. John Finney. The last previous female in the Finney family tree was Mrs. Gertrude Ramson, who died three years ago at the age of 88.
