Correction

A story in The Examiner on May 6 (“Liquor license approved for Dallas”) contained contained some incorrect information. Raymond Hyatt, a managing partner of Dallas of Kansas City, LLC, did not apply for a liquor license. As a Kansas resident, he is not eligible to hold a Missouri liquor license. Jack Larson of Dallas of Kansas City, LLC, was named as the managing partner on the liquor license application.

Also, Dallas was not denied an earlier liquor license. Although city staff had recommended denial of the first application, the matter never came before the cancel for a vote.
