To be a transitional housing program providing a Christian environment that helps homeless families become self-supportive, self-reliant contributors to society.

It is one of our largest fundraisers of the year. Pledges from friends and family provide us with the resources necessary for our families to realize their dream of self-sufficiency.

4. This is the 10th anniversary of the event. How has this event and Hillcrest impacted the community the last 10 years?

We have provided nearly 200 families with 90 days of rent-free, utility-free housing. Residents attend classes in life skills, community living and budget counseling. Most important we give single moms with kids hope for a better future.

5. Besides participating in the walk, what else can people do to help Hillcrest?

Hillcrest depends on local churches, Sunday school classes and individuals for monetary support and volunteers.  We are also in need of food and personal care item donations. Thanks for supporting Hillcrest. See you on Saturday!
