Am I confused, no! I know January 1st has not arrived already. It is a new year for Blue Springs City government. Each year our fiscal year starts on October 1st, so a new year and with that is a new budget to begin operating from.

Health fair in Grain Valley is Saturday

The William Chrisman High School class of 1944 will  observe its last formal reunion with a special observance at the Memorial Wall at Veterans Courtyard, on the southeast corner of the Truman Memorial Building, 416 W. Maple Ave.

Grain Valley High School students experienced a week filled with numerous and unforgettable moments, including daily activities created to unite classmates of each grade from freshmen to seniors, sophomores and juniors.

Two weeks ago, I wrote a column addressing handicapped parking. I have never, yes never, received so many responses. I really didn’t think that many people read my column.
