The Wild Bird Center in Independence is holding its monthly bird walk this Saturday at Unity Village.
Participants will gather at the store, 4480 S. Noland Road in the Noland South Shopping Center, at 8 a.m., and they will carpool to the location. Make reservations by calling the store at 816-478-9399.
Future bird walks are set for Burr Oak Woods in Blue Springs, Waterfall Park in Independence, James A. Reed Wildlife Refuge in Lee’s Summit and the Martha Lafite Nature Sanctuary in Liberty.
