A small fire broke out this morning in the bathroom of the Price Chopper grocery store on North Missouri , in Blue Springs.

Around 10:30, a spokesperson for the Central Jackson County Fire Protection District said, someone inside the store must have noticed smoke coming out of a bathroom.

Firefighters arrived and found a small fire, which they say started in a fan. It was brought under control quickly, spokesperson Eddie Saffel said.

There were no injuries. Damage was mostly smoke related.
