Learn more about plant diseases and how they could be affecting your garden.
In partnership with Kansas City Community Gardens and the Independence Garden Club, the Independence Health Department is sponsoring a gardening class at 6:30 p.m. Monday. Mary Roduner, an entomology specialist with Kansas City Community Gardens, will teach the class.
The class is free to the public and will take place at the Truman Memorial Building, 416 W. Maple Ave. Contact Independence Health Educator Joanie Shover at 816-325-7767 for more information.
