Independence, MO —
The FBI is looking for a suspect who robbed an Independence bank Saturday morning.
The man robbed Bank Midwest, 11507 E. 23rd St., about 11:30 a.m. The suspect approached the teller counter with a demand note. He also showed a black handgun. Witnesses said he ran from the scene after the teller gave the suspect some money. He fled heading east on 23rd St.
Investigators said the suspect was wearing a wig, glasses and a straw hat and was carrying a black laptop computer case.
