Sunday's skycast for the metro area is yellow, meaning ozone levels are elevated but not high enough to issue an ozone alert.
It's a break from three straight days of orange alerts Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
The Mid-America Regional Council, which issues the daily skycast, still suggests such steps as mowing in the evening and not painting the outside of the house in the middle of the day, steps that help limit the buildup of ozone during the day.
The next day's skycast is posted late in the afternoon at www.marc.org/airQ, and updates are posted on Twitter @airqkc.
