It’s raining cats, and, well, more cats at the Independence Animal Shelter.
Because of a significant increase in impounded cats, the shelter, 875 Vista Ave., is temporarily reducing cat adoption fees to free up space.
The usual $90 adoption fee is reduced to $50 through Friday. The fee includes appropriate vaccinations, spay/neuter and microchipping.
