The Sweet Tooth in Blue Springs will be featured on an episode of The Food Network’s show Cupcake Wars this Sunday. A watch party has been scheduled to support the Blue Springs basis as well as to raise money for the Blue Springs Education Foundation.
The event is at 7 p.m. Sunday at the Skylight Restaurant and Bar, 1867 S.W. Missouri 7 in Blue Springs. The doors open at 5 p.m. and admission is $5. Half of the ticket price will be donated to the foundation. Admission includes free cupcakes, prizes and giveaways. Seats are limited, so arrive early.
During watch Cupcake Wars episode, four cupcake bakers face off in three elimination challenges. The winner receives $10,000 and an opportunity to showcase their winning cupcakes. The Sweet Tooth was founded by Amy and Trevor Goodwin in 2010. The Blue Springs location, 3100 D S. Missouri 7, opened in January with more than 40 cupcake flavors and seven flavors of cookies and cheesecakes.
