Tickets are going quickly for the performance of Handel’s “Messiah” in Independence.
A second performance was recently added to meet the great interest in the program. The performances will take place at 7:30 p.m. Sautrday, Dec. 8 and at 4 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 9 at Stone Church, 1012 W. Lexington Ave.
Those who want to attend either performance can visit www.independencemessiah.org and select the tab “Ticket Reservations.” A reservation acknowledgment will be sent within 48 hours. Tickets will be dispersed beginning Oct. 18. The free tickets can either be mailed to the recipients or placed on will-call.
