Here is an update on current road work in Jackson County, as provided by the Missouri Department of Transportation. New work is in red:

New Work Today and Updates/Change
Route 40: Utility work will restrict traffic on eastbound Route 40 at Phelps Road from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday, Feb. 13.
Route 50: Pavement repair will restrict a lane of eastbound and westbound Route 50 between Chipman Road and Todd George Parkway from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. through March 1.
I-670: Lighting work will restrict a lane of westbound I-670 between I-35 and I-70 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 9.
I-435: Shoulder or median work will restrict eastbound and westbound I-435 between Holmes Road and 104th Street from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 9.
I-70: Pavement repair will restrict traffic on eastbound and westbound I-70 between Route F and Noland Road from noon to 2:30 p.m. Thursday and Friday, Feb. 9-10.
Route 24 (Independence Ave.): Maintenance work will close one lane of westbound Independence Avenue near Delaware Street from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.on Feb 9 and Feb. 10.
Front Street: Pavement construction will close one lane of Front Street in each direction between Chouteau Trafficway and I-435 beginning Feb. 1 to May. 25.
I-435: Shoulder work will close one lane of I-435 southbound from Route 78 to Stadium Drive from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. through May.
Route 40: New pavement construction will close one lane of Route 40 in each direction between Stadium Drive and Manchester from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. through May.
