Flags are at half staff across Missouri on Saturday in honor of Spec. Sterling William Wyatt, who was killed in Afghanistan.
Wyatt, 21, was a graduate of Rock Bridge High School in Columbia. He had been promoted to specialist four days before his death. His unit was on patrol, and the vehicle was in ran into a roadside bomb.
Also, flags are at half staff nationwide by order of President Obama to remember those killed in the theater shooting Friday in Colorado. That order is through Wednesday.
