Donna Terrill, an art teacher at Fort Osage High School and Jeanie Cook, a kindergarten teacher at Pleasant Lea Elementary in Lee’s Summit, have been named as two of six finalists for Missouri Teacher of the Year. Both will interview with the other finalists on Aug. 6 in Jefferson City. State officials plan to announce the Missouri Teacher of the Year next week.
