Park University is ready to welcome new and returning students at its main campus in Parkville, Mo., online and at 38 other campus centers throughout the United States as the 2012-13 school year begins.
Park serves traditional and non-traditional students in day, weekend and evening programs. Classes at Park’s campus centers across the country and online are offered in traditional 16-week, as well as accelerated eight-week sessions. The first day of fall classes is Monday, Aug. 20.
One of Park’s degrees growing in popularity is the bachelor of public administration degree within the Hauptmann School of Public Affairs. The degree now is offered in five areas of emphasis, including business relations, criminal justice, fire service management, homeland security and public service. Courses are offered in an eight-week accelerated, face-to-face format at Park’s Downtown Kansas City Campus Center, the Fort Bliss (Texas) Campus Center and online.
Park’s newest degree offerings include the bachelor of science in nursing completion program within Park’s Ellen Finley Earhart Nursing Program and the bachelor of science in fitness and wellness. The bachelor of science in nursing completion program is designed to provide a flexible format for current registered nurses, while the bachelor of science in fitness and wellness introduces students to basic principles that assist and motivate them to reach their optimal fitness and wellness potential while leading others to an overall healthful lifestyle.
