Independence Parks and Recreation’s Family Night Out (sand volleyball) scheduled for Wednesday evening is canceled because of the heat.
The next Family Night Out event will take place from 6 to 8 p.m. July 11 at Strikerz Entertainment Center, 18900 E. Valley View Parkway.
