Blue Springs, MO —
Despite some media reports to the contrary, the city of Blue Springs has not issued a boil order due to Tuesday’s power outage at a Kansas City pump station.
No boil order was necessary during the reduced rate of water supply from Kansas City’s power loss at a pump station, and Blue Springs water reserve levels have returned to normal after the power was restored on Tuesday evening, according to a press release issued by the city.
