The boil order in Oak Grove has been lifted. The water supply is safe and free of bacteria, the city said today.

The city had issued a boil order on Friday after a water main break. One of the city’s two water towers emptied, and water pressure fell significantly.

This morning the city said residents could resume normal water uses. “Water test results of samples collected throughout the water system confirmed no presence of bateria,” the city said in a news release. “The test results verify that the water supply is safe and that customers can be confident in resuming their normal routines.”
