Pat Breithaupt, a storyteller and ventriloquist of Salt ‘N’ Patter Puppets from St. Clair, Mo., presents “Brementown Musicians” at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. Saturday at the Puppetry Arts Institute, 11025 Winner Road, Independence.

The story tells of a little old donkey who can’t carry heavy loads any more and is going to be sent away. He and his misfit friends decide to run away and run right into all kinds of adventures.

The $5 cost per person includes seeing the museum. For reservations, call 816-833-9777.
