A child was struck by a vehicle in Blue Springs Thursday afternoon but suffered only minor injuries.
Police said the child was reportedly riding their bicycle on the street in the 900 block of Duncan Road at 3:30 p.m. when they were struck. The age and gender of the child was unknown.
The police spokesperson said the child was taken to Children’s Mercy Hospital for precaution. Injuries were minor.
