Records for the next couple of days appear to be safe. The Aug. 18 record is 52, set in 1981. The low of the day usually comes around dawn, and the Firday night/Saturday morning low is expected to be about 55, according to the National Weather Service.
For Aug. 19, the record is 53, and the Saturday night/Sunday morning overnight low is forecast at 59.
