With only three weeks until the opening of school, workmen at the new South Secondary school at 3301 S. Noland Road are trying to make every moment count. Gregory Lefever, who is to become principal of the school to house all of the district’s 7th graders, is ready to move into his office as soon as workmen give the “all clear.” This school will be the first in the school system to use the new “scramble system” of cafeteria serving. The customers will move about in a self-serve fashion rather than standing in line for steam table service.
