The Mile Starts Here walking program, sponsored by the Independence Health Department, continues at 9 a.m. this Wednesday at Santa Fe Trail Park, 2731 S. Santa Fe Road.
As part of the Building a Healthier Independence initiative, the weekly walks continue through Sept. 26.
