The Independence Animal Shelter reports that it adopted out 24 cats and 8 dogs this past weekend as part of the PetSmart Charities National Adoption Weekend.
Because the shelter is still full with cats, it is running an adoption special of $50, which includes a spay/neuter, vaccinations, an FIV and feline leukemia test, dewormer and a microchip.
