“When Did He Know” is the title of this portrayal of the boy Jesus. The scriptures reveal little about Jesus’ childhood and youth, but tell us He “continued from grace to grace until He received a fullness of knowledge.”

The Independence LDS Visitors’ Center at 937 W. Walnut was chosen for the first public display of the Witnesses of Christ Fine Arts Exhibit featuring 20  paintings by Liz Lemon Swindle.

The paintings illustrate the testimonies of those who were close to the Savior during his life and witness that we, too, can learn of Him and feel the peace that only He can offer.  The display is open to the public through April and can be seen from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily.  Admission and parking are free.

The magnificent paintings capture unexpected perspectives of familiar incidents in the life of the Savior, His purpose, and of His very being.
