The National Weather Service office in Pleasant Hill says a cold front moving in from the north has kicked up the winds this afternoon, raising the rsik of rapidly spreading wilfdfires. Officials urge extreme caution with matches, cigarettes and any source of flame. The wind should die down this evening.
