Adventure Oasis Water Park in Independence is offering a free water safety awareness clinic on Saturday morning.
The program is designed to teach drowning prevention and safety awareness around pools and other waterways. Children ages 10 and younger must be accompanied by a swimming adult.
The class is from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. at 2100 S. Hub Drive. Call 816-325-7843 to register or for more information.
