After a week off because of the Fourth of July, the Mile Starts Here walk in Independence will resume on Wednesday.
The mile-long walk, as part of the Building a Healthier Independence grant-funded initiative, will take place at 9 a.m. at Waterfall Park, 4501 S. Bass Pro Drive. The walks continues weekly on Wednesdays through Sept. 26.
