It looks like a few snowy, sloppy and chilly days coming up.
The National Weather Service says snow is expected after sunrise Thursday, turning to a mix of rain and snow after 2 p.m. About an inch of snow is possible. The snow could at times greatly reduce visibility, and the roads could get slick. The chance of precipitation is 90 percent. The high is just above freezing, about 34.
There’s a 30 percent chance of snow – less than one-tenth of an inch – Thursday evening, with a low of 29. Friday is cloudy and little warmer – high 39, low 31 – but there’s no snow.
The rain and snow come back Saturday, with perhaps one-tenth to one-quarter of an inch of accumulation. High of 39, low of 30. Chances of precipitation are 60 percent during the day and 70 percent in the evening. There’s still a 50 percent of snow Sunday, with a high of 38.
That’s the end of the snow, but cloudy skies will stick around into the new week, with highs around 40 and lows in the mid-20s through Wednesday.
