Community Services League recently received two grant awards to support its housing programs.
CSL will receive $132,339 from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development and $16,000 from the Jackson County Housing Resources Commission.
The HUD funding will support CSL's permanent supportive housing program, which provides shelter to those who meet HUD's definition of homeless and disabled. Clients also receive case management, employment education and life skills classes.
The Jackson County Housing Resources Commission funds will go toward rental assistance and case management services. Both grants will be used in 2013 and 2014.
