It looks like rain for Monday and then more severe weather with a wintry mix of precipitation later in the week.
The National Weather Service says there’s a 30 percent chance of rain Monday, probably before 1 p.m. The rain is expected to be light, one-tenth of an inch or less.
It’s going to be chillier, with a high of 48 Monday and then highs in the mid-30s Tuesday and Wednesday.
A winter storm is shaping for Wednesday night and Thursday, though the Weather Service says the timing and track of the storm remain unclear, as does the exact mix of precipitation. For now, the forecast includes an 80 percent chance of precipitation Wednesday night and Thursday: rain, then snow, possibly snow with freezing rain. Snow and sleet could accumulate.
