Outages in Independence at 10:40 were in 4 areas: Far NW Indep, north of U.S. 24, west of Sugar Creek (21 out); a block bounded roughly by Sterling, 35th Street, 23rd Street and Noland (10); heavier outages in SE roughly bounded by 23rd Street, Noland, I-70 and Jackson (84); and SW roughly south of I-70 and west of Lee's Summit to the city limits (148).
