The National Weather Service says this afternoon's gusty winds, in addition to the high temperatures and overall very dry conditions, are raising the risk of wildfires.
This afternoon's high is expected to be about 91.
Some relief might be on the way. A cold front is cominhg, and although Wednesday's high is again expected to be 91, there's a 50 percent of thundershowers in the evening. The storms are not expected to be severe.
