Truman Heritage Habitat for Humanity is preparing for one of its biggest fundraisers of the year.
The 14th annual Truman Heritage Habitat for Humanity Concert will be at 7 p.m. Sunday at Beacon Heights Community of Christ Church, 19402 Holke Road in Independence. The fundraising concert is produced by St. Michael’s Episcopal Church, located at Lee’s Summit Road and Interstate 70, but was moved to the larger Beacon Heights facility four years ago to accommodate larger crowds. There is no admission fee, but free-will donations will be collected at the event. All donations are tax deductible.
