Oak Grove’s Parks and Recreation
Department has plenty to offer to both
young and old. Horseback riding, skateboarding,
swimming, fishing and family fun can all
be found in Oak Grove.
WEBB PARK
Webb Park, the city’s main park, has 47
acres of land located on the east end of
town.
The park has a lighted pitching machine
field, lighted ball diamonds, concessions
building, T-ball field, lighted tennis courts,
basketball court, sand volleyball courts, pavilions
with picnic tables, restrooms, large playground
equipment and a large parking area.
Park hours are 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. daily.
Many events are held at Webb Park
throughout the year. Some events include the
Fourth of July celebration and fireworks,
adult softball leagues, youth tennis camp,
USSSA baseball tournaments and several

of events.
CARAWAY LAKE
Approximately eight acres, Caraway Lake is
stocked yearly with crappie, catfish, bass and
other game fish.
To fish, permits must be obtained from the
state of Missouri and the city. Park hours are
from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m.
FRICK PARK
Frick Park consists of 57 acres of land at
Cemetery Road and West 12th Street. There
are lighted equestrian arenas, a concessions
building, a pavilion with picnic tables, small
playground equipment, restrooms, full size
athletic fields, junior size athletic fields, and
large scenic area and picnic areas. Park hours
are from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m.
Frick Park is home to many rodeos, soccer
league play and football league play. Events
such as THE SHOWTIME, flag football league,
and the Pepsi NFL Punt, Pass and Kick
Challenge are held at Frick Park throughout

OAK GROVE POOL
The city’s public pool is adjacent to the
Civic Center, 2100 S. Broadway St. It is open
from 1 to 6 p.m., from early May to Labor
Day weekend.
The price for season passes ranges from
$20 for a 10-day pass to $125 for a non-resident
family. The daily rate is $3 for adults
and $2 for ages 55 and over. The pool is free
for children age 3 and under.
Family night swim is every Thursday from 6
to 9 p.m. The cost is $1 per person.
SKATE PARK
The Skate Park is behind the Civic Center
on a 60-foot by 120-foot concrete pad. It
offers patrons several ramps or rails to use
while skateboarding.
Quarter pipes, grind rails, stairs and hand
rails are available.
Patrons are encouraged to wear safety
gear while at the skate park. The skate park
is open from dawn until dusk.
The Skate Park is home to the annual skate
park contest which offers competitors the
chance to compete against their peers in a
talent competition.
Winners in each division are awarded

contest takes place.
