Mariah Shavon Davis, 20, of Mexico, MO passed away at 7:24 a.m. Friday, May 4, 2018.

Visitation was held 5:00 ~ 7:00 p.m. Friday, May 11, 2018, at Waters Funeral Home in Vandalia, MO.

Funeral services were held 10:30 a.m. Saturday, May 12, 2018, at Waters Funeral Home in Vandalia, MO

Pastor Bob Stanford officiated.

Burial will be in the Vandalia Cemetery at a later date.

Mariah was born of October 2, 1997, in Hannibal, MO the daughter of Willie Lee Davis, Jr. and Christina Johnson.

Mariah graduated from Montgomery City High School in 2016. She was furthering her education in the healthcare field.Mariah worked at the Missouri Veterans Home in Mexico.

Mariah was track star during high school. She enjoyed fitness and hardly missed a day working out at the YMCA. Along with fitness she enjoyed biking, swimming, fishing and being outdoors enjoying Gods creation. Mariah loved to cook for her family and friends. She cherished family gatherings and loved her family and friends. She was a member of Farber Baptist Church.

Survivors include her father, Willie Davis of Vandalia, MO; mother, Christina Johnson of Vandalia, MO; three brothers, Brandon Lee Davis of Mexico, MO, Lashawn Davis (Gracie) of Rush Hill, MO, and Tim Wayne Davis of Mexico, MO; two sisters, Shawna Ebers of Vandalia, MO and Crystal Nicole Davis of Columbia, MO; paternal grandmother, Joyce Jackson (Nathaniel) of Mexico, MO; maternal grandmother, Susan Christian of Vandalia, MO; paternal step-grandmother, Jean Davis of Chicago, IL; and numerousaunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Mariah was preceded in death by one brother, Arron Lee Davis, paternal grandfather, Willis Davis, Sr., maternal grandfather, Melvin Stotler, and paternal great-grandparents, Wesley and Flossie Bryant.

Pallbearers were Brandon Davis, Lashaun Davis, Tim Davis, Kris Modglin and Michael Reynolds.

Honorary pallbearers were Mariah’s loving family and friends.

Memorial contributions may be made to Mariah’s family to help with funeral expenses payable to Willis Davis.
