Shirley Ann (Lofgren) Lotridge, 82, passed away on Monday, Feb. 18, 2013, at John Knox Hospice, Lee’s Summit, Mo.

Shirley was born and raised in Centerville, Iowa, where she met and married her high school sweetheart, Bill Lotridge. They moved to Kansas City in 1951 and raised three daughters. Shirley later worked as manager of the US Supply showroom in Kansas City, Mo., while attending classes and eventually graduating from Central Missouri State University in Warrensburg. Upon retirement, Shirley and Bill moved to Lone Jack, Mo., where she attained her dream of owning and showing Tennessee Walker horses.

Survivors, who love her and will miss her greatly, include her husband, Bill; her daughters, Cindy (Gary) Sutton, Ann (Greg) Hummel and Jayne (Steve) Brown; six grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

A visitation will be held at 10 a.m., followed by a memorial service at 11 a.m., on Saturday, Feb. 23, at Langsford Funeral Home, 115 S.W. Third St., Lee’s Summit. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to the Alzheimer’s Foundation, Heart of America Chapter, 3846 W. 75 St., Prairie Village, KS 66208 or John Knox Hospice, Lee’s Summit.
