Judith D. Shockey, 64, Independence , Mo., passed away on November 17, 2009. Services will be held at Mt. Washington Forever Mausoleum Chapel 614 S. Brookside Ave. Independence, Mo. Visitation will be 6 to 8:30 p.m. on Monday, Nov.23, 2009, and funeral service will be 1 p.m., Tuesday, with burial to follow in Mt. Washington Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Salvation Army.

Judy was born in Kansas City, Mo., on December 3, 1944, to James A. and Pauline (Aston) Phillips, Sr. and was a life long area resident.

She was  preceded in death by her parents, son, Johnny Williams, grandson Cody Risner, sister, Alice Breck (Sis), and 3 brothers; Al Phillips, Don Phillips and Bob Phillips.

Survivors include her devoted husband, Lloyd Shockey, four daughters; Gina Risner, Lisa Olliso, Monica Phipps, Paula Daniels and one son, David Allan Shockey.

Judy is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 2 sisters; Barbara McNurlin, Gail Franklin, 2 brothers; Terry Phillips, Larry Phillips, nieces, nephews and a dear family friend Craig David Done. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend and was loved by all who knew her. She will be forever missed.
