Stanley J. Krawczyk, Sr. passed away peacefully at home on February 4, 2010.

Visitation will be Sunday, February 7, 2010 at the McGilley & Sheil Chapel from 3-5 p.m. with rosary recited at 3 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial celebrated on Monday at 11 a.m. at St. Mark’s Catholic Church (3736 Lee’s Summit Rd. Indep., Mo.) with burial to follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.

Stan was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He is a WWII Veteran and received 5 bronze stars for his heroic actions in major conflicts in the European Theater.

Stan was an avid golfer and worked at several area golf courses after his 32 year career at Fimco Corporation.

He was preceded in death by his parents and 10 brothers and sisters and is survived by his wife of 67 years, Rose of the home; three children, Stancia Kalmus (Bob), Patricia Angotti (Fred) and S. John. Krawczyk, Jr.; 8 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to Good Shepherd Hospice or the Greater KC Alzheimer’s Association.
