James Lance Mordica

James Lance Mordica, 70, of Independence, Mo., passed away November 1, 2009.
Jim was born November 7, 1938, in Pittsburg, Kan., the son of Gordon and Mildred (Lance) Mordica.
He worked for Tnemec Company in North Kansas City, Mo.
Jim was a member of the Latter Day Saints church in Independence, Mo.
He was an avid sportsman and loved the outdoors.
He is survived by 3 daughters, Michele Mordica, Monique Mordica, and Melissa Mordica Winter and 3 granddaughters, Kirsten Yocks, Samantha Yocks, and Chloe Yocks.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggest contributions to American Diabetes Association, National Processing Center, P.O.Box 1130, Fairfax, VA 22038-1130. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, November 7, 2009, at New Salem Funeral Home. Burial in New Salem Cemetery.
