Rose Marie Baumgardner-Marble, 81, of Blue Springs, Mo., passed away Thursday, June 21, 2012.
Rose was born March 1, 1931, in Grain Valley, Mo., the daughter of Brian and Leona (Morris) Schoonover. She married Dale Baumgardner April 23, 1950, and he preceded her in death December 10, 2004. She married Bob Marble July 12, 2008. Rose loved to travel, garden, knit and do needlework, spend time with her grandchildren, and go on walks with friends. She attended Plaza Heights Baptist Church. Rose was also preceded in death by her brother, Bill Schoonover, in 1980, and her sister, Julia Cline, in 2012.
Her survivors include her husband, Bob Marble of the home; son, Les and Peggy Baumgardner of Blue Springs; daughter, Terri Baumgardner of Blue Springs; and grandchildren, Ryan and Kari Baumgardner of Lee’s Summit, Mo., and Megan and Clayton Hood of Grain Valley, Mo.
Funeral services will be 2:30 p.m. Saturday, June 23, at Royer Funeral Home, Grain Valley, Mo. Burial in Blue Springs Cemetery, Blue Springs, Mo. The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until service time.
