Daniel Keith “Danny” Phillips, 54, of Independence, Missouri passed away February 3, 2010.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, February 9, 2010 at DW Newcomers Sons Noland Road Chapel, Independence. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the Funeral Chapel.
In lieu of flowers, monetary donations may be made to the funeral home to defray expenses.

Danny was born July 18, 1955, Independence, Mo. Danny was a trim carpenter and loved to build with wood. He enjoyed bass fishing and was a huge Kansas City Chiefs fan. Danny loved his grandchildren, they were his pride and joy.
He is preceded into death by his Father: George “Toby” Phillips and a Nephew: Travis Watson.
Danny is survived by his wife of 33 years, Stacie A. Phillips of the home. 1 Daughter: Courtney Hughes and her husband Shawn. 2 Sons: Jonathan Phillips and his wife Jessica and Justin Phillips and his companion Ashley all of Independence, Mo. 3 Brothers: Bill Phillips, Jimmy Phillips and Donald Bullard and his wife Renea all of Independence, Mo. 2 Sisters: Pam Watson and husband Rusty and Georgiana Hill all of Independence, Mo. Mother: Vera Phillips Bullard of Independence, Mo. 5 Grandchildren: Hayden, Brooklyn, Tyler, Nathaniel and Alyssa.
