Shawn D. Scott, 33, of Independence, Mo., passed away Monday, Nov. 12, 2012.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 17, at D.W. Newcomer’s Noland Road Chapel, 509 S. Noland Road, Independence. Visitation will be one hour prior to services. Burial at Woodlawn Cemetery.
Shawn was a member of Walnut Grove Church of Christ, an Eagle Scouts in the Tribe of Mic-O-Say, past member of the R.O.T.C. at East High School, a Brown Belt KO’s Academy, an avid hunter and fisherman. Shawn lived life for his daughters and his wife. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Daniel Scott and Karren Scott.
He is survived by his daughters, Kaylie, Alissa, and Gracy, along with his wife, Crissi (Beutler) Scott.
