Wilbur Leon Standley, 88, of Independence, Mo., passed away Sunday, Nov. 11, 2012.
A memorial service with military honors will be held at 7 p.m. Monday, Nov. 19, at New Salem Funeral Home, Independence. Visitation will be from 6 to 7 p.m. prior to the service.
