Lawrence Donald Burchett, 80, of Blue Springs, Mo., passed away Sunday, February 7, 2010 at the Leavenworth VA Medical Center Nursing Home.
Services will be 1 p.m. Thursday, February 11, 2010 in the Interment Chapel at the Missouri Veteran’s Cemetery in Higginsville, Mo..
Lawrence was born on July 27, 1929 in Kansas City, KS, the son of Donald V. & Bonnie (Harness) Burchett. He married Lillian E. Frazer on August 15, 1959. Lawrence was a veteran of the Korean War and had been employed as an Air Force Base security guard before retirement.
His survivors include his wife Lillian and one son, David Burchett.
