Louise Johnson, Independence, Mo., passed away Thursday, May 3, 2012.

Louise was born October 16, 1921, the daughter of Achillis and Nora (Stillwell) Daniels. She had worked for Lake City Ammunition and was a longtime volunteer at Resthaven Nursing Home. Louise was a member of the RLDS Congregation. She was a beautiful woman that was so full of life and joy and was dedicated to her family and the Lord.

Louise was preceded in death by her loving husband Orville Johnson in 2002 after 32 years of marriage; three brothers; two sisters and her parents. Survivors include her daughters, Linda “Chick” Wood, Cricket Cox, Donna Burgess and husband Joe, and Connie McCormick; grandchildren, Tonya Ramel and Katie Carr Lugo; great grandchildren, Cruz Lugo, Dakoda Wood and Hanna Ramel.

Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday, May 7, 2012, at Carson-Speaks Chapel; 1501 W. Lexington Ave. Independence, MO 64052. Burial to follow at Mound Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
